When we use the word assurance and when we use the word reassurance?Are they same contextually?

It isn't the same... The difference between the two is:

Assurance stands for: A positive declaration or a promise.
Whereas
Reassurance stands for: A double confirmation eliminating all doubts.

Assurance is declaration to give build confidence in someone while reassurance is to remove someone's doubts for comfort.Some words in English are used interchangeably even though there is a difference in meaning of these words.
