Yes! It is very important as we go up in the professional ladder. Hence, I strongly believe it should be made compulsory!

Yes,because today to succeed in any profession one has to express their ideas in English to your bosses and subordinates.Subjects like Science and Maths use English terminology.So yes English should be taught compulsarily in our schools .This does not hamper learning Hindi in any way.
