I am not from convent school and i believe that is why my spoken English skills are poor? What do you guys have to say...does it matter...convent vs non-convent???

Yes, convent educated are surely the ones who are good at spoken English. however it does not mean that only convent educated are good at spoken English, the only thing is that they are more likely to have better English because they are trained on it.

No!Certificates and brands don't make or break you .Remember Steve Jobs the guy who started the most valuable company in the world was a college drop out.You will come across people who speak English very well even though they were not exposed to this language in their childhood ,in their homes etc.
So success depends on your will power to learn rather than on your history.

convent kids have an advantage in terms of compulsory english speaking. However, what makes a perfect english speaker is not his or her schooling, but practise and determination.
