I am extremely confused about when to use inquiry and when to use enquiry. What is the difference? Could you give me examples to help me?

Both the words are usually used interchangeably, which oftens means to ask questions or show curiousity. Generally, enquiry is used in informal situatuions whereas Inquiry is used in formal investigations.
