TOPIC: Word confusion

Word confusion 10 years 5 months ago #257

I am confused between two words:

1. Beware
2. Be aware

Could someone please explain the difference between the two and give a few examples to simplify it further?

[1] You should beware the dog. (be cautious; be careful)
[2] You should be aware of the dog. (know about, be informed, be knowledgeable about)
